We have been members of The Institute of Quarrying since 1996 and for the last 7 years have been the sponsor of the South West branch annual quiz night..
E&L Engineering (Southern) Ltd, a Devon-based company with its headquarters at King Charles Business Park at Old Newton Road Heathfield near Newton Abbot.
Our purpose built premises allows us the manufacturing and storage space required for the demands of the quarrying and concrete industries.
Plant and equipment designed, produced and installed by the company includes, Quarry and concrete plant, conveyors, hoppers, silos, chutes, storage bins and structural steelwork.
We are also distributors for leading manufactures of concrete pan mixers, screw conveyors, filters and silo safety systems.
Our expertise covers manufacturing projects of all sizes from one off components to commercial and industrial developments, through to refurbishment projects.

E&L Engineering (Southern) Limited was formed in 1986 in Bulley Cleave Quarry Buckfastleigh Devon. Barry Evans and Michael Lee the founding directors initially set the company up to service the local quarries and concrete producers. The company soon grew, as it became apparent that not only were we needed in the service sector but also for the design and manufacturing of the plant.
The site at Buckfastleigh expanded to capacity and after a few years the company moved to its new location.
The two directors who have always been involved in the day to day business of the firm and will take responsibility for managing your project at every stage. Keeping in direct touch with the client’s needs allows us to complete contracts on time and to your satisfaction.
